Meet Our Teachers

  • Lisa Jack

Lisa has worked as a teacher at Hanover Nursery School for the past 25 years. Her daughter, Brittany, attended HNS from 1994-96. While a parent at HNS, Lisa served on the Board of Directors and helped with the development of the nature trail next to the school.

Lisa has a BA in Behavioral Science and an Associate Degree in Child Development.

Lisa and her husband, Tom, enjoy hiking, kayaking, biking, fishing, and gardening. Lisa teaches in both the Pre K class, and the Extended Day program. She creates the curriculum for all programs, and runs our Summerthing summer camp program. She was named director in 2015.

  • Amy Hochreiter

Amy is thrilled to be returning to Hanover Nursery School after a brief hiatus during COVID. Amy will once again be the Lead Teacher in the Explorers classroom. Amy holds certifications in both Early Childhood and Special Education. All three of Amy's children attended HNS, and during their 8 year tenure Amy served as President of the Board of Directors. Amy and her family live in Hanover, and they love traveling-especially to Disney. You can often find Amy walking her dog Pineapple, or watching her children participate in their many activities.

  • Christine Churchill

Christine joined our teaching team in 2021, and has been loving every minute of it. Christine previously worked at a local daycare center, but prefers the structure of a preschool setting. Christine assists Lisa in both the Pre-K and Extended Day programs. Christine and her husband have three children, and they enjoy spending time together as a family.
